Tell us about the car
The more you can tell us, the more accurate the price will be. If you are not sure what is wrong, just describe what it is doing. That is usually enough for us to narrow it down.
What to have ready when you call
- Your postcode, or a rough location if you are on the road
- Make, model and year of the vehicle
- The registration, which tells us the exact engine and parts
- What it is doing: the noise, the warning light, when it started
- Whether the car is drivable or completely stuck
If you are somewhere dangerous
On a motorway or a fast A-road, get out of the vehicle, behind the barrier, and call National Highways on 0300 123 5000 or 999 first. Get to safety before you worry about the repair. We will still be here.
