About Mechanaholic

Personalised care for every vehicle is not a slogan we picked because it sounded good on a business card. It is the difference between a garage that treats your car as a job number and a mechanic who remembers what you drive.

Mobile mechanic changing a punctured tyre at the roadside
Our story

Built around one simple frustration

Anyone who has owned a car in this country knows the routine. You book it in a week ahead. You drop it off at eight and lose the morning. You get a call at three with a list of things you never asked about. You pay a bill that bears no relation to the estimate.

Mechanaholic exists because none of that is necessary for most of the work people actually need. A battery, a bearing, a puncture, an exhaust section, a set of drop links: these are jobs that can be done properly on your driveway in the time it takes you to have lunch.

[Mechanaholic: replace this paragraph with your own story. When you started, what you did before, and why you went mobile. Two or three sentences in your own words will do more for trust than anything a copywriter can invent.]

Why people stop going to garages

With Mechanaholic

The usual garage experience

Properly equipped, properly insured

Jacks, axle stands, diagnostics, torque wrenches and the parts that fail most often, because turning up without the right kit wastes your day as much as ours.

Four promises we actually keep

01

The quote is the price

You are told what it costs before we set off. If we find something else once we are in there, we stop and ring you. Nothing goes on your bill that you have not agreed to.

02

We show you the fault

You get to see the worn pad, the split boot, the corroded section. Old parts stay with the car unless you would rather we took them away.

03

We say no when we should

If a job genuinely needs a ramp, a press or a workshop, we will tell you before you have paid a callout fee, and point you somewhere sensible.

04

We tidy up

No oil on the drive, no packaging left in the gutter, no wheel nuts finger-tight. Everything torqued to spec and the site left as we found it.
